Charles Gbeke

Charles Gbeke is a former professional soccer player and former Canada national team forward with a wealth of experience competing at the highest levels of the game. Born in Ivory Coast, he went on to represent Canada internationally, earning three caps during his career.

Known for his strength, finishing ability, and attacking presence, Gbeke enjoyed a successful professional career across North America, Europe, and Asia. He played for several respected clubs, including the Vancouver Whitecaps, Montreal Impact, Toronto Lynx, and Rochester Rhinos, and established himself as one of the top forwards in the USL First Division.

Among his career highlights, Gbeke won the Golden Boot twice and helped the Vancouver Whitecaps capture a league championship, scoring both goals in the title-winning final. He later finished his playing career in China, where he helped Guangzhou Evergrande secure promotion to the Chinese Super League.
